t2T Healthcare Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) has instituted the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) to ensure the proper handling of personal data in accordance with the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information” (hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Information Protection Law”).

  2. Compliance with relevant laws and regulations
    We will handle personal data appropriately in compliance with the Personal Information Protection Law and other laws and regulations, as well as the guidelines of the Personal Information Protection Commission and other guidelines.

  3. Collection and use of personal information
    When collecting personal information, we will publicly disclose or otherwise notify users (including by disclosure through this policy) regarding the purpose for which the personal information will be used, and when collecting personal information directly from individuals in a contract or other document (including electromagnetic records), we will clearly state the purpose for which the personal information will be used in advance and collect the information in a lawful and fair manner.
    We will use personal information appropriately and only to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of the use as described in Article 4.

  4. Purpose of using personal information
    The purposes for which we use personal information are as follows:
    (1) To provide and operate our services
    (2) To reply to inquiries from users (including to confirm the identity of users)
    (3) To send users information on new features and updates of the service users are using, as well as information on other services provided by us
    (4) To contact users as necessary for maintenance, important notices, etc.
    (5) To identify users who have violated the Terms of Service or who are attempting to use the service for fraudulent or unjust purposes, and to refuse their use of the service
    (6) To charge users for paid services
    (7) For purposes incidental to the above purposes of use

  5. Provision of Personal Data to a third party
    (1) We will not provide personal data to a third party without obtaining prior consent from the individual, except in the following cases:
     ⒜ When based on laws or regulations, including ordinances;
     ⒝ When it is necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the person’s consent;
     ⒞ When it is particularly necessary to protect public health or promote the sound growth of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person concerned;
     ⒟ When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either a national agency or local government to execute affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the consent of the individual is likely to impede such cooperation.
     ⒠ Cases in which personal data is provided to an academic research institution, etc., and such academic research institution, etc. need to handle the personal data for academic research purposes (including cases where the purpose of handling such personal data is partly for academic research purposes, and excluding cases where there is a risk of unreasonable infringement on the rights and interests of individuals); and
     ⒡ When we notify or announce matters as required by law in advance; and
     ⒢ When we notify the Personal Information Protection Commission.
    (2) In the following cases, the recipient of the personal data will not be considered a third party:
     ⒜ When the Company outsources all or part of the handling of personal data within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of the use as described in 4 (1);
     ⒝ When personal data is provided in connection with a business succession due to a merger or other reasons; and
     ⒞ When personal data is provided to persons specified as joint users in Article 5.

  6. Security management measures
    We will take necessary and appropriate security management measures for the management of personal data, including the prevention of leakage, loss, or damage. In addition, we will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over employees and contractors who handle personal data.

  7. Request for Disclosure, etc. of Personal Information
    When we receive a request from a customer to disclose, correct, add, delete, or stop using personal information; stop providing personal information to third parties; or receive a notice about purpose of use  with respect to personal information in our possession in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law, we will respond appropriately and in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law after confirming the identity of the individual or a person authorized to act on his/her behalf.
