The Red Dragon Conference is a voluntary study group for Asian development strategies and regulatory intelligence in the pharmaceutical industry cofounded by Mr. Tetsuomi Takano in October 2008, who was appointed as the Vice-Chairperson initially and has been promoted to the Chairperson since 2014.
On December 6th, 2024 in Tokyo, we held the 31st Red Dragon Conference, where Mr. Tetsuomi Takano, the Chairperson of the Red Dragon Conference, gave a presentation titled “Update on Clinical Development and Regulatory for China” covering the following four contents.

2. Near-future forecast of drug loss in Japan
3. NRDL 2024 edition released on Nov 28 (including presented information at 9th CBIIC in Guangzhou on Nov 30-Dec 1)
4. Pilot program for optimizing IND review and approval of innovative new drug, etc.
